This unique planter is super cute and fun to interact with. Sleek looking on my desk. Great value for the money and a great gift idea for plant lovers. Very easy to setup and love the digital aspect of it.

We love Ivy😀 It was super easy to set up and so much fun watching her expressions lol. We just set her up yesterday and planted a mint plant and via the app you can monitor the ambient light, relative humidity, water, etc. or watch the many different expressions. It’s cloudy where we live today so Ivy isn’t happy without the sunlight. I cannot believe I feel bad when she cries lol. But it’s fun and so cute. Hopefully the mint will grow.

Love this new way to care for my plants!! It’s easy to set up and helps me keep an eye on my plants needs. Love the sunny yellow color! It’s a fun way to interact with my plants!!

Pot is cute, animation is cute, even the small cup to out the plant in is adorable as long as you can find a small plant.

Here’s the issue: I had put in succulents (stonecrop).
- Water: It ran out and needed to be refilled the first 5 hours. Then had to be refilled everyday. Soil is extremely moist…but succulents don’t need much water so why do I need to keep refilling it?
- Lighting: I have it placed in the brightest room and is getting indirect light. However, it keeps telling me that lighting is insufficient. When it’s night time and it’s dark in the room, it the. Tells me that the lighting is acceptable. I don’t understand?
- Battery life: this is the biggest issue. The app says I have 36 hours battery life left. However, in 5 hours, the battery is dead and needed to be charged. I even have sleep mode enabled which should extend the battery life but it appears it shortens it?

This is why I’m only giving it 3 out of 5 stars.

This arrived quickly and set up was easy. It looks great on the window sill and makes the cutest faces. Bought as a gift for a plant lover and they loved it.

I got this for my mom as a present and she loved the fun and easy Ivy plant. She especially enjoyed the practical way she could interact with her plant and know when it was time for more water, sunlight, etc. - like a friend on her desk.

I bought this for my daughter for a gift and she was very happy and excited about receiving it. She couldn’t wait to pick out a plant to put in it. She said it was easy to use and it’s now happily sitting in her bedroom growing the plant. What a fun gift idea for any age and for any occasion.

after combing through the various similar smart planters couldn't be more glad to go with plantsio, got it as a gift for my wife and she LOVES it, not to mention it has my daughters trying to take care of it as well. no issues with it so far 2 months later, hasn't bugged out once!

Purchased this product to add a little cute vibe to the home. The wife loves it and thinks it's pretty entertaining and interactive. Seems pretty durable and made with good material. It can fit most small plants and succulents. Overall, its cute, entertaining, and good quality. Would buy it again but maybe in a different color. Possibly even all the colors.

This is a wonderful product and I’ve been able to grow two plants. The AI installed works great and the sensors are astonishing accurate. However, the touch pad to scroll to other screens needs improvement, sometimes I have to tap on it several times before it goes to the next page. Moreover, I wish it was a big bigger so the plants can grow more, it feels like this is just a device to help a plant grow for it to be repotted, a plant cannot thrive in this small environment. It simply survives.

Santa brought this gift to my son for Christmas, and he loves it! It was easy to set up the plant/software, and I like how it came with the decorative stones for the top of the plant too! I put the app on my phone (as my son is only 7 and doesn't have one), and it's so neat to see the different plant info (amount of light, water, etc) to check in and see how 'Ivy' is doing! (So far so good!) Plus, the different faces the pot makes is really cute too! I really enjoy this product, I recommend it, and I look forward to seeing more from this company in the future! ❤️

Very cute and fun pots. Very easy to set up. The plant list isn’t very extensive yet but that doesn’t matter because it still does what it’s supposed to do and you can monitor its conditions from your phone or tablet. The interactions are fun and it is receptive to touch and sound. Make sure to check out their YouTube for the full display and explanation of all of the pot’s expressions. Make sure you are using small plants. The plant list is a good guide but if you have something else that will fit that’s great, I have a Venus fly trap in one of them. Definitely a good and fun purchase :)

I purchased this gift for my father who absolutely loves plants and planting!!! I saw this item online and I thought to myself I have to get this for my dad for Christmas, when he opened it up his eyes lit up!!! He opened the box and just loved it!!! This planter is small, but there are plenty of options for plants that will fit!
I'm not great at keeping plants alive.. but the face on the screen lets me know when it needs water or is too hot. It's also fun to interact with, like touching the sensors to look like you're petting it, the weather, timer, and the status of the soil and water, etc. I definitely plan to buy a few more! Great product for the cost!

It took me some searching to figure out which plants would be fully supported, but there were a lot of options once I found a list. Would be great if a list of plants was on the Amazon listing.

The Smart Pet Planter is definitely cute, making it a nice addition to the counter. However, it doesn’t hold a charge for long unless it’s plugged in, and the tray for the plant itself is surprisingly small.

Purchased for myself and I do love it. It says it syncs to your phone for geolocation, but alas, I'm not in Beijing. And it won't change even after 2 updates. Can't depend on the weather report here, or night/day since in my device it's flip-flopped day and night. Precise time... just opposite of the sun lol. Also, it has a noise sensitivity I guess? But set to max sensitivity I still see nothing different from making noise. Problematic functionality.

Love the emoji faces and correct reminders for watering. I thought my flower was for sure not going to last this long. Not only is my flower still blooming another flower started growing. I highly recommend smart ivy to anyone who enjoys having house plants.

Got these on a whim after doing some research after seeing these planters on Instagram, and given my remote working environment these little guys wound up being a surprisingly nice addition to my workspace. They have yet to break down or bug out, so far it's been putting a smile on my face to see them each day when I clock in.

This was the perfect gift for my wife since she loves taking care of plants. And this literally feels like you have to, but with more rewards (the smiles) and more action (the caresses). It makes you happy when you see it Ivy smiling. The app works great, and it was super easy to connect and setup. Funny thing that for Halloween it showed the evil pumpkin face, so Ivy is also very funny and can make your day start better. I cant wait to see its face at Christmas

I have a lot of plants in the house in basic white planters, but wanted to add something a little bit different and purchased this guy. I keep it plugged in so that the screen is always on and emoting. Recently I noticed that ivy would display a jack o lantern around Halloween so I am curious to see if it does anything else for other holidays. It responds to different sounds (like running water) or to touch and definitely makes plant ownership a little bit more interactive. It is on the smaller side though so it would be fun to have a larger container at some point in the future. It's a neat little planter for anyone who really loves plants :)

My wife is both a 90s kid as well as a plant lover, so when I was looking for a birthday gift for her, this way perfect and she loves it! The combination of a Tamagotchi and a plant is such a great idea and it actually works well to keep your plant alive as long as you pay attention to the app etc. Overall I'd recommend for someone who likes plants, gadgets, digital pets, or any combination of the three.

This was such a sweet gift from my husband who knows I'm a black thumb. It's super cute, easy to use and set up, and I love getting an alert on my phone when it needs more water (I've often said if plants would remind me they're dry I'd keep them alive better). Its the perfect size for a desk plant. My only complaints are the limited plant selection (I wanted orchids) and the fact that the light sensor is on the back which is against the wall with my setup and obstructed by leaves so it constantly registers as not enough light.

Looked very cute. Downloaded the app but couldn’t connect through WiFi so I had to return. The app has a lot of products so it’s hard to navigate and connect.

This animated planter is unique and different and can be fun. I feel like it's in the early stages and still needs some improvements. If purchased full price it's pricey for what it is (almost $90). It did go on significant sale a couple of times, of course after I purchased it as a gift.

I wish this held a charge longer. I gave this as a gift to one of my adult kids, it does make a fun gift (include some potting soil and plant if possible). It reminds us all of the Eve robot in the movie Wall-E.

My daughter jokes she can't keep plants alive, so the point is this planter lets the owner know exactly what the plant needs (water, sun, etc). Also she likes these types of quirky animated type things. Mostly though it's my young grandkids that are the ones getting a kick out of it.

The wide eyed and blinking faces the planter makes are robot-like and there's quite a variety - helps to keep the instruction sheet with the face meanings out until all of them can be learned (faces it makes when the plant needs more sunlight, is too dry, etc).

PROS:
- It's fun and different. Kids will get a kick out of it, adults too. It's a conversation piece.
- There's an App that works in conjunction with the planter.
- Fun little item for someone who doesn't have a lot of other plants or just wants a unique interactive planter to keep on their desk, sink, nightstand, or counter - as long as there's enough light.

Cons:
- Cost. This little item is pricey when purchased full price at current point of over $80.
- Low charging power. This doesn't hold a charge for very long at all, so it needs to be frequently recharged OR left plugged in - which then means it needs to be near an outlet, which might not be the best location for the plant. The constant need to recharge this is THE biggest drawback as it affects its location and honestly it just becomes a hassle.
- The actual planter space is very very small. It will work for small plants, cacti, and succulents, that don't require a lot of root room. It includes some decorative rocks - however by the time enough soil is added for the roots there isn't room for the rocks.

The dog's food gets stuck, you have to be giving little touches so that, every time it ends, more food goes down, I want to return it. Let's see how I do it!!

This is the first planter that I ever tried that is like this. It functions very well and connects through an app on my phone. It keeps track of my plant health and shows me on the flower pot. Overall I love this AI flower pot and will get another one in the future. It keeps my plant health in an entertaining way.

First one lasted just 36 days. Wasn’t able to return the item but the customer service from the seller was able to address and re some my issue. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

I thought this was a cute idea, but it does not know how to properly detect anything. I out 50 ml of water and it says that there was 89ml even though it was empty before. Then it will say it has 1ml and jump back and forth. I have yet to get it to actually show the animation.

Update 09/12: I was able to figure out the water issue, I had to find a work around in making ivy sense the plant. Onee that happened, I was given access to all settings in the app. I did upgrade to a 3 out of 5, but it would take a lot to get me to update to 5 out of 5. Also, if you want some judgment in your life, Ivy will judge you all day.

It froze upon trying to wake Ivy and it will not continue to operate. This was so cute and fun. The seller reached out to me several times to resolve the issue. I am so grateful and l can’t wait to set it up my students will love it. Thank you seller for working with me.

I love how they made caring for a plant similar to a tamagotchi pet. I think it's a great idea! Everyone who comes to the house sees it and thinks it's literally the best thing!

The various expressions and gestures on this little guy makes caring for your plant fun. For people who forget to water their plant this is a great option because he will tell you! I placed this right on the window sill by the kitchen sink so we see it all the time.

This is my first time seeing this kind of smart flowerpot. It's quite novel. My dad said he has never seen one in his life. It has time and weather forecast. I originally wanted to buy a timetable and hang it on the wall, but I don't need it anymore. I put it on the table and it often blinks. My eight-month-old daughter is happy to see it. It's a good thing but a little expensive. And the standby time is two days after a full charge.

This little thing is the most adorable plant holder I own.

It makes me smile.
It is definitely a conversation piece.
Fits almost anywhere it's so tiny.
Cons:
Holds charge less than 24 hours
Holds only a small plant.
Doesn't always keep the smiley face on the screen.
Would I recommend this to somebody, yes. Would I tell them the cons of it, most definitely.
What I consider buying a second one in a different color, chances are incredibly high.

I got this as a birthday present for my husband. He loves plants and we live in an apartment without outdoor space so I thought this would be a nice way to help him grow a plant. It's the perfect size to put on his office desk and because it tells us how the plant is doing we can move it to the sunlight when needed. I like the color as well, it was true to the picture. It is a pricey gift but I think if it lasts and works like it says it does it is worth it. Also a great gift ideas for kids who are just starting to learn how to take care of plants.

Very nice product to have which refreshes your mood everytime you look at it. It arrived on time and it was way easier than I thought to setup using the phone app. There is a tutorial on the screen which guides you step by step as far as setting up app and connecting to your wifi is concerned. Just keep in mind that there is a push button on the back where you need to press after charging it a bit and the screen will turn on. It took me a while to figure out this but I didn't read the manual so I might have missed this part. Definitely recommend this product.

I am not the best at taking care of plants. The only thing that has survived in my house are three Pothos plants. So naturally I was taken by the cute emoji pot that will help me keep plants alive.

To start, you will need to download an app (Tuya Smart) on your phone and connect the pot via Bluetooth. I've seen other products also use this app, I think it's in the same vein as SmartThings and SmartLife.

From the app, you can select from a list of recommended plants. The list has about 43 different plants to choose from at the moment, but I'm not sure if that list will gro. The pot setup is easy enough. Fill the base with water, plant the plant in the tiny pot, put the pot in the base.

The unfortunate part is that the battery only lasts about 24hrs before you need to charge it again. It's a bit disappointing, but I've resigned to keeping it in a window next to a plug.

Overall, it's very cute, but I'll see how it goes in the next few months.
